CFI Welcomes You!
Founded in 2011 by Dr. Adam S. Weissman, CFI is a highly specialized mental and behavioral healthcare organization for children, caregivers, adults, and family members of all ages, with offices in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut and a broad-based telehealth initiative. We offer individualized, tailored care in all kinds of settings—individual, group, couples, family therapy—and for all kinds of mental health needs, as well as comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations, nutritional counseling, speech and occupational therapy, academic support services, and more. CFI supports the Weissman Children’s Foundation, a national 501(c)(3) organization established by Dr. Weissman in early 2020, with a mission to advance mental health access through innovation, community action and crisis relief, and compassionate, data-driven care. Our key partners include Harvard University, Columbia University-Teacher’s College, CUNY-Hunter College, and the Westchester County Government. Dr. Weissman and CFI are the recent recipients of Westchester County’s Healthcare Hero, 40 Under 40, and Public Health Awards, as well as the American Psychological Association’s Distinguished Contributions to Practice Award, one of the field’s highest honors.
Dr. Weissman and CFI are also pleased to announce the opening of Westchester Sports & Performance Psychology, a new regional practice serving athletes and performers throughout Westchester County and the NY Metro Area, and our new partner non-profit, Impact Memorabilia, donating high-quality sports and entertainment memorabilia to the Weissman Children’s Foundation and other local charities across sports and music, physical and mental health, community, justice, and the arts.
