Nadyah Spahn, B.A.

Nadyah Spahn is an Intake Coordinator and Executive Assistant at CFI. Nadyah graduated in May of 2021 from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and a minor in Leadership Studies. Throughout her time at CU Boulder, Nadyah worked as a peer wellness coach, helping other students set and achieve their social, emotional, and educational goals.

Nadyah also researched, wrote and published an original honors thesis entitled “They Look at Me Like I’m Nuts: Exploring Cultural Idioms of Distress and Other Factors that Limit and Enhance Mental Health Practitioners’ Work with Iraqi Refugees.” Nadyah’s honors thesis solidified her desire to provide mental health services to marginalized populations and fight against the cultural stigma of mental illness.

Nadyah aims to attend graduate school, earn a PsyD in clinical psychology and work in a college counseling center providing therapy and assessment services to underrepresented students.
