Social Skills Group Therapy at CFI & Social City

CFI has partnered with Social City to expand group therapy opportunities for children and young adults, with groups tailored to each individual’s needs.

Finding the right support for your child or young adult can make a meaningful difference. We’re excited to share that The Child & Family Institute has recently partnered with Social City, a social skills program for children, teens, and young adults.  Their team of speech-language pathologists specializes in social-emotional and pragmatic language development. They work with neurotypical students who may need extra support navigating peer relationships and social dynamics, as well as children with social anxiety, ADHD, language delays and learning differences. Students are appropriately matched with peers based on age, emotional maturity, social functioning, language and communication skills, individual goals, and interests.

Our team is here to make the process simple. We’ll help you get started, answer your initial questions, and guide you through the steps before connecting you with Social City to determine the group that may be the right fit.

How It Works

1. Contact Us
Start by reaching out to our team at intake@childfamilyinstitute.com to let us know you’re interested in group therapy.

2. Complete an Intake Form
We’ll provide a brief intake form to collect some basic demographic and background information.

3. Complete Your Online Forms
Once your initial information is received, we’ll send a few additional forms through our secure online portal to help us gather the information needed to move forward.

4. Connect With Social City
After your forms are complete, CFI will connect you with Social City. Their team will schedule an intake call with your family to learn more about your needs, discuss available groups, and determine eligibility and next steps.
