Susan McLaughlin, LMSW
Susan McLaughlin, LMSW, is a clinical social worker practicing out of the CFI Westchester, NY offices, and via telehealth. She is committed to trauma-informed care, mental health accessibility, and client empowerment. Susan works with children, adolescents, and families, using a strengths-based approach to help them navigate life’s challenges. She integrates evidence-based modalities, including CBT, DBT, and mindfulness-based interventions, to support healing from trauma, anxiety, and family stressors.
Susan earned her Master of Social Work from Fordham University and is a member of the NASW. Her work with survivors of intimate partner violence informs her approach to supporting clients through trauma, anxiety, and family dynamics. With a background in higher education publishing and a passion for mental health advocacy, Susan brings a unique perspective to her work. She values collaboration, lifelong learning, and the power of a safe, validating therapeutic space.
