Sara Brooks, MSW-LP
Sara Brooks, LMSW is a CFI/WCF clinician based in Brooklyn. Sara earned her bachelors degree in Art and Educational Studies from Carleton College, and her Master’s degree from Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College in Spring 2023. Sara works with diverse populations, with a specific focus on adolescents and adults, integrating psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral (CBT, ACT, DBT) approaches to meet clients’ individual needs. Sara’s areas of focus include anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, and relational dynamics.
Sara is in training for certification in Somatic Experiencing trauma healing at SE International, and is currently studying at the Stephen A. Mitchell Center for Relational Studies. She approaches her work with compassion, perceptiveness, and warmth, and is dedicated to a collaborative process of healing.
