Elizabeth Demeusy, Ph.D.

Elizabeth Demeusy, PhD, is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital where she is actively involved in both research and clinical activities. She is also the Associate Director of Research and Program Evaluation for the Wellbeing in School Environments (WISE) Center at Medstar Georgetown. Broadly, her research focuses on the impact of trauma and adversity on the developmental trajectory, as well as the design, evaluation, and dissemination of interventions to prevent long-term psychological maladjustment & foster wellbeing. Dr. Demeusy has extensive experience providing evidence-based interventions to children, families, and educators in school-based and outpatient settings. Overall, she is passionate about increasing accessibility to evidence-based mental health services & supporting the wellbeing of individuals, families, and systems.
