Licensed Clinical Psychologist or Social Worker
CFI is currently accepting applications for licensed Clinical Psychologists and/or Social Workers to fill several in-person, full and/or part-time positions in Westchester County. CFI has office locations in Scarsdale, White Plains, Tarrytown, Rye Brook, and Harrison. The clinician will be involved in the broad array of experiences available at CFI but specifically to provide in-person individual, family and group CBT/DBT in Westchester. Clinicians will have the opportunity to take part in comprehensive didactics programming, in-house case conferences, and continuing education opportunities through CFI’s CE Training Program.
**Licensed psychologists may also have the opportunity to supervise students and take part in teaching opportunities through Columbia University.
Qualifications
- Psychology candidates will have completed an APA-accredited doctoral program in clinical or school-clinical psychology, as well as a one-year, pre-doctoral internship placement in clinical psychology
- Social work candidates will have completed an MSW program and be licensed as either a LMSW or LCSW
- Candidates must be licensed in NY and will be open to pursuing licensure in one additional state
- Prior specialized training/experience with evidence-based treatments

Compensation and Benefits
This is an independent contractor position. Salary is commensurate with experience and includes substantial opportunities for growth, ranging from $75,000 – $200,000 annually.
Based on the candidates’ interests and experience, there are opportunities to lead/co-lead workshops in the community; collaborate on research and/or writing projects; take on supervisory and program development roles within CFI and the communities we serve; and obtain further training and/or experience in specialized cognitive and behavioral therapies for youth emotional, behavior, attention and habit disorders.
Clinicians will collaborate with our exceptional team of more than 50 behavioral health specialists, consultants, and volunteers throughout the United States, and may participate in program development efforts integrating service delivery, clinical research, and social and health justice advocacy through the Weissman Children’s Foundation (WCF). Our new partner nonprofit organization allows clinicians to have a broad-based impact on issues of national and global mental healthcare by joining WCF task forces focused on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), communications (including writing for the Blog and social media), and equity, effectiveness, and implementation science research, as we work toward our common goal of accessible, affordable evidence-based care for all.

Intake Coordinator
CFI is currently accepting applications for a full-time Intake Coordinator to facilitate referral and intake processes for new clients and related administrative responsibilities (e.g. scheduling) at CFI and WCF. This position is ideal for a post-baccalaureate candidate interested in applying to graduate school in the mental health field. This position will be hybrid and a two-year minimum commitment is required.

This position will involve training staff and predoctoral externs on research protocols, monitoring survey completion, organizing and facilitating research team meetings and assisting with general nonprofit development efforts including fundraising and fostering community partnerships. This position is ideal for a post-baccalaureate candidate interested in applying to graduate school in the mental health field. This position will be largely remote, and a two-year minimum commitment is required.

The Child & Family Institute is currently accepting applications for a Westchester County-Based Clinical Neuropsychologist with extensive neurocognitive assessment experience. Qualifications
- Qualified candidates will have completed an APA-accredited doctoral program in clinical or school-clinical psychology, as well as a one-year pre-doctoral internship placement in clinical psychology.

- A very strong neuropsychology training background is required, CBT experience is a plus.

Post-Doctoral Fellowship
The Child & Family Institute-Westchester is currently accepting applications for one full-time postdoctoral fellow beginning Fall of 2024. The position provides a unique opportunity for clinical, counseling, and school psychology doctoral graduates interested in working with children and families in a dynamic, collaborative, mission-driven practice to obtain specialized training in evidence-based treatments including: CBT, DBT, Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Attachment-Based Family Therapy, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), CBT for Selective Mutism, acceptance-based behavioral therapy, modular and transdiagnostic therapies, as well as neuropsychological and psychoeducational assessments. The postdoctoral fellow will also have the opportunity to facilitate CBT, DBT, and/or social skills groups, and take part in comprehensive didactics programming and in-house case conferences. Clinical postdoctoral fellowships are anticipated to start between July 1 and September 1, 2024.
CFI’s team of highly specialized clinical psychologists and social workers share expertise in anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, parenting and maternal health, tic and habit disorders, OCD, adoption and attachment, chronic medical conditions, and more. The postdoctoral fellow will be supervised by one of our Senior Directors/licensed clinical psychologists.
Qualifications
- Candidates must have a doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in clinical, counseling, and/or school psychology from an APA-accredited program, as well as an APA-accredited internship.
- Prior clinical experience with cognitive-behavior therapy and other evidence-based treatments, and with children, adolescents and families, is strongly preferred.
- Our typical post-doc salary ranges from $80-$100K per year, with significant second-year salary increase and career advancement opportunities.
